Its time to review new Traders! The narrative remains as previously as it helps to understand the basic principles of position sizing.<\/span><\/p>\n

Starting from the most experienced to novice, all Traders have to deal with three basic elements: <\/span>the system, psychology, and Position Sizing (or Money Management)<\/strong>.<\/span>
<\/span>Believe it or not, building the <\/span>strategy<\/strong> can be the easiest part of trading as the Trader is looking for the setup of the system’s entry and exit. <\/span>
<\/span>Psychology<\/strong> is a complicated part. Trader’s character and personality play a significant role. Additionally, gaining experience is critical and helps you grow and improve yourself. This needs a dedicated blog post.<\/span>
<\/span>Position Sizing or Money Management (M.M.)<\/strong> is considered to be science itself. It’s proven that an efficient <\/span>M.M<\/strong>. can improve the profitability of a mediocre trading system while poor <\/span>M.M.<\/strong> can even destroy the profitability of a solid trading system.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let’s review a <\/span>hypothetical scenario<\/strong> of how the <\/span>M.M<\/strong> works beneficial:<\/span><\/p>\n

Account Currency: $<\/span>
<\/span>Instrument: EURUSD<\/span>
<\/span>Lot Size: 0.1 (mini lot) 
<\/span>                       Pips       $
<\/span>1st Trade:  
<\/span>1 mini lot  →  -5pips     -$5  (net) lost
<\/span>2nd Trade:
<\/span>2 mini lots →  -2pips     -$4  (net) lost
<\/span>3rd Trade:
<\/span>3 mini lots →   4pips     $12  (net) won
<\/span>Total:              -3pips     $3<\/strong><\/p>\n

Obviously, the overall result in pips is negative while is positive in dollars. Our example is very simple as there are many complicated M.M. models.<\/span><\/p>\n

But are there such<\/span> Traders<\/strong> on Zulutrade’s platform? <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span>Naturally, Investors must copy them by using PRO-RATA settings exclusively, as they will be benefited from Trader’s <\/span>M.M<\/strong> efficiency. The system is specializing in USDCAD pair and has shown a solid performance from month to month. Likewise, the first graph represents the performance in US dollars while the second one in Pips. The same developer is running a second trading account, <\/span>Winshopper<\/span><\/a> though it’s more aggressive (bigger max dd) and has higher returns than the <\/span>winCanada<\/strong><\/a>.

Avangard II<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Developing a solid position size strategy needs<\/span> experience, back&forward testing, and discipline<\/strong> to comply with the system’s rules.
