Later today, a two-day debate starts at the Spanish Parliament so that a new government is formed. Socialists have won 123 out of 350 seats at the latest elections on 28 April 2019 and are set to be supported by the Podemos, a left party that won 43 seats. Tomorrow’s vote is not expected to give them the absolute majority needed, so a new vote will most likely take place on Thursday that require a simple majority for the government to be formed.
During the Asian session, all 25 Chinese tech stocks surged at the debut of Shanghai Stock Exchange Science and Technology index.
