Tell us about your trading background and how you got started trading.
I became passionate about forex trading about a decade ago.
I followed some online courses and started by opening an account, starting with doing only manual operations.
Over time I gained knowledge of the mql language to develop my strategies within an expert advisor.
In this way the engines work for me, leaving me much more free time, even though the research on improving the strategies continues unabated.
When did you first discover ZuluTrade? What was it about ZuluTrade that got your interest?
I discovered Zulutrade during my internet searches.
My goal was to find a community of traders to share their experiences and strategies.
Zulutrade caught my attention because it is one of the largest and most widespread social trading platforms on the planet.
Give us the basic structure of your strategy
Scalping method following short and medium-term trends, I open positions against daily movements only where such moves have a high probability of success.
What’s your trade management approach – taking profit and exits, trade size and account- level risk management?
As a rule, I don’t risk more than 2% for each trade.
Operations are opened one at a time and two trades are rarely opened at the same time.
StopLoss and TakeProfit are variable, depending on the time.
Generally, the stop losses vary between 100 and 200 pips but this rule is not always valid, sometimes a recovery trade is opened with a slightly increased lot, to compensate for the initial loss and both trades are closed in profit.
How can your followers get the best by your strategy?
Decide on initial investment and use the same level of risk as my strategy.
Better to earn a little at a time without taking excessive risks and, if possible, withdraw the earnings at the end of each month so as not to grow capital excessively.
How do you feel when you have a good and a bad trade? How are you dealing with this?
There may be times when the open trade is in heavy loss, my advice is not to panic and not to close the trade manually.
I let the strategy take its course and sooner or later the loss will be compensated and the trade will be closed in profit as it has always happened in these three years of strategy activity.
Finally, if you could give some advice for the aspiring traders out there, what would it be?
Do not get overly excited when your trading is showing fantastic results. Keep calm and maintain a reasonable risk level, because the “rocket” mode will not last forever.
Do not panic when your system falls into a bad series. If you have a good and reliable trading system, stick with it – it will recover sooner or later and you will be rewarded for your patience and self-control.
Remember! Risk management is the key to successful trading. Wise risk management is what keeps you in the game!
