Market Recap – Protesting

Ceremonial protesting in Athens-Greece, 46 years since the students occupied the Polytechnic School protesting against the Greek military junta. Repetition of last year’s protests in France, as the “Gilets Jaunes” movement marks its one year anniversary. Continued violent protesting in Hong Kong. Since the second week of June, protests have not stopped. The police trapped protesters in the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The escalation of violence is happening at the same time that the anti-mask law was ruled unconstitutional.

As the APEC summit was cancelled in Chile, (again, due to local protesting) financial markets have nothing to focus on, on the week ahead.

Macro releases: No significant, market moving release is included in the today’s economic calendar.
