Market Recap – 2020 calendar

Happy New Year to all investors and traders of the ZuluTrade community.

The 2020 calendar includes the US presidential elections on November, the Olympic games in Tokyo on July and the 75th anniversary of the United Nations. This year’s G7 summit will take place in the USA on June, the G20 summit will be hosted by Saudi Arabia on November, and the World Economic Forum begins in Davos-Switzerland on 21-24 January. The 2020 elections calendar is almost empty. Australia, Japan, Europe, UK, Canada are not scheduled to head to the polls. General elections will take place in Taiwan on January 11, in South Korea on April and in Honk Kong on September.

Macro releases: Manufacturing activity, the most significant source of concern during 2019, is having a health check today. Europe, France, Germany, USA and Canada are publishing their manufacturing PMI numbers. Switzerland is having a bank holiday today. A full economic calendar is available under the tab features.
